15 direkte Faxnummern

Ich hab einen Kunden mit einer Auerswald Commander Basic 2 Telefonanlage. Die 15 Benutzer der Firma sollen nun jeder eine eigene Fax-Nummer bekommen, was in der Telefonanlage mit Durchwahlen gelöst werden soll. Welche ISDN Karte empfehlen Sie für diese Konfiguration?

A:
Ich empfehle AVM B1-Karte oder eine Eicon/Dialogic Diva Server-BRI. Wenn das Faxaufkommen nicht allzu gross ist (weniger als 50 Faxe pro Tag), würde sich auch eine AVM Fritzcard PCI anbieten (die Fritzcard kann allerdings nicht direkt an einem Anlagenanschluss betrieben werden, falls dies seitens der TK-Anlage erforderlich sein sollte).

Ich habe die AVM Fritz!Card bei Ebay gefunden, ist diese die richtige für ActiveFax oder gibt es verschiedene Modelle?

Die Fritzcard PCI funktioniert mit ActiveFax, es spricht also nichts gegen den Einsatz dieser Karte.

Linux Collax Server

Wir haben einen Windows 2008 Small Business Server installiert. Als Firewall dient ein LINUX Collax Server. Die ISDN-Karte befindet sich im LINUX Server. Wo muss ich ActiveFax installieren: auf der Windows 2008 SBS (ohne ISDN KArte) oder auf dem LINUX Server? Kann ActiveFax vom Windows 2008 SBS über die ISDN KArte im Linus Server arbeiten?

ie müssten in diesem Fall die ISDN-Karte direkt im Windows 2008 Server installieren, da die ISDN-Karte lokal im Fax Server PC installiert sein muss und eine Installation des Fax Servers auf einem Linux Rechner nicht möglich ist.

Können wir unseren bestehenden DSL-Anschluß mit einer FritzBox als Router nutzen?

Für den Fax-Versand brauchen Sie auf jeden Fall auch ein analoges Faxmodem oder eine ISDN-Karte. Der Faxversand über DSL funktioniert technisch nicht.

Ist es egal ob ich ein altes Modem (56k v90) oder eine ISDN-Karte nutze?

A:
Das ist grundsätzlich egal. Falls Sie die freie Wahl haben, würde ich aber eher zu einer ISDN-Karte raten, da man damit mehr Möglichkeiten hat (z.B. Durchwahlen, Gebührenabrechnung, standardmässig 2 Kanäle).

Ich plane einen Gemischtbetrieb mit einer passiven ISDN FritzCard PCI und zwei analogen US Robotics Modems an Com 1 und 2. Die ISDN Karte soll hauptsächlich für Senden und Empfangen zuständig sein, die Modems sollen nur für den Fall eines „Staus“ in Aktion treten bzw. nur für den gleichzeitigen Empfang genutzt werden. Muss ich hierbei mit Problemen bei ActiveFax rechnen? Was muss ich beachten und welche Einstellungen empfehlen Sie mir?

Diese Konfiguration wird von ActiveFax unterstützt. Der gemischte Betrieb einer (passiven) ISDN-Karte mit analogen Modems stellt also kein Problem dar.

Unterschied aktive und passive ISDN Karten

was ist denn eigentlich der oder die konkrete(n) Vorteil(e) zwischen einer passiven ISDN Fritz Card PCI/USB und dem aktiven Pendant B1 oder C2 von AVM?

A:
Der wesentliche Unterschied zwischen einer passiven (Fritzcard) und einer aktiven ISDN-Karte (AVM B1 oder C2) ist, dass die aktiven ISDN-Karten einen eigenen Prozessor und eigenen Speicher integriert haben. Diese Karten sind daher nicht auf die Rechenleistung des Host-Rechnerns angewiesen. Passive ISDN-Karten benutzen hingegen die CPU und den Speicher des Host-Rechners, was zu Problemen führen kann, wenn der PC sehr stark ausgelastet oder schon älteren Baujahres ist. Generell kann man sagen, dass aktive Karten durch den eigenen Prozessor und Speicher die Signale auf der Telefonleitung zuverlässiger verarbeiten können, was sich in der Praxis durch stabilere Verbindungen äussert.

Wir suchen ein Faxprogramm, wo der Client auf einem Terminalserver mit Windows Server 2008 64-Bit Betriebssystem laufen soll? Der Fax-Server soll auf unserem Email- und Internet-Server mit KEN4! unter Windows 2000 installiert werden. Funktioniert Ihr Programm unter diesen Bedingungen?

Windows 2008/64-bit Terminal Server sowie Windows 2000 werden sowohl vom Fax Server als auch vom Client unterstützt. KEN4 ist hier grundsätzlich nicht notwendig. Es reicht eine ganz normale ISDN-Karte (z.B. AVM B1 oder Fritzcard) am Fax Server PC. Die Clients brauchen keine direkte Anbindung an ISDN.

Gibt es auch die Möglichkeit die Software per VOIP z.b. per SIP oder H323 an eine Telefonanlage anzuschalten. Wenn ja, welche System wurden getestet bzw. sind freigegeben? Uns geht es speziel um die Anschaltung der AVAYA IP Office 500 über das IP-Protokoll H323.l

Dies wäre möglich. Sie würden hier entweder von Eicon/Dialogic Diva SoftIP (http://www.dialogic.com/products/ip_enabled/Diva_ip_software.htm) oder die XCAPI (www.xcapi.de) benötigen. Aus der Sicht des Fax Servers würde es sich hierbei dann um eine normale (virtuelle) ISDN-Karte handeln. Die Konfiguration am Fax Server wäre als gleich wie bei Verwendung einer ISDN-Karte.
